Uit een collectie van een verzamelaar kunnen wij aanbieden een wel zeer unieke NSU RO 80 uit 1973, de Familie Van Asselt uit Epse kocht in 1973 bij de Fa.Common Market Motor n.v. te Brussel België een NSU RO 80 in de kleur Gemini Blauw, de originele koopfactuur is nog aanwezig, en namen hem mee naar Holland, getuige de factuur kreeg hij nog wat extra’s en een Dinitrol anti roest behandeling. Op 3-12-1973 werd hij op een Nl kenteken gezet. De NSU werd in Nederland onderhouden bij de Fa. Onsterk & Lenselink b.v. Audi-NSU-Mazda dealer te Zutphen.
Uiteindelijk kwam de RO80 in 1998 terecht bij de Heer Bos directeur van een graszoden bedrijf in Uddel. In 1999 gaf hij de Fa. Blankenmeijer Automobielrenovatie te Bleskengraaf opdracht de NSU een totale “make over” te geven en dan wel tot in de details hij werd tevens voorzien van een airco systeem, tempomaat en de prachtige gesmede Fuchs velgen. De motor werd compleet gereviseerd door de Wankelmotor specialist van Rootselaar te Zaandam. De goede opletter zal zien dat er 2 benzine vulopeningen zijn volledig identiek links en rechts, plan was om er eventueel een LPG installatie in te bouwen en is er zeer vakkundig een 2e vulopening gemaakt, uiteindelijk is van de LPG mogelijkheid afgezien. Belangrijk om te vermelden en het blijkt ook uit de uitgebreide fotoreportage dat het een zeer solide en harde carrosserie betrof. Uiteindelijk is er een taxatie rapport opgemaakt in 1999 door van Eck expertises waarin wordt vermeld dat de totale kosten voor dit alles F 80.000/€ 40.000 is geweest. De verzamelaar waar wij de NSU voor verkopen heeft nog een prachtig origineel vol lederen interieur laten monteren die wat kleur betreft uitstekend past bij het Gemini Blauw, ook werd de exclusieve Becker Traffic Pro radio incl. cd wisselaar geplaatst. De NSU wordt verkocht i.v.m. een verandering in de collectie. Onderzijde foto’s op aanvraag beschikbaar.

From a collection of a collector we can offer a very unique NSU RO 80 from 1973, the Van Asselt family from Epse bought in 1973 at the Fa.Common Market Motor n.v. in Brussels Belgium an NSU RO 80 in the color Gemini Blue, the original purchase invoice is still present, and took it to Holland, judging by the invoice, he received some extras and a Dinitrol anti-rust treatment. On 3-12-1973 he was put on a Dutch registration. The NSU was maintained in the Netherlands by the Fa. Onsterk & Lenselink b.v. Audi-NSU-Mazda dealer in Zutphen. Finally, in 1998, the RO80 ended up with Heer Bos, director of a turf company in Uddel. In 1999 he gave the Fa. Blankenmeijer Automobielrenovatie in Bleskengraaf was commissioned to give the NSU a total “make over” down to the last detail. It was also equipped with an air-conditioning system, tempomat and the beautiful forged Fuchs rims. The engine was completely overhauled by Rootselaar’s Wankelmotor specialist in Zaandam. The correct lettering will show that there are 2 petrol filling openings completely identical on the left and right, the plan was to possibly build in an LPG installation and a 2nd filling opening was very skillfully made, in the end the LPG option was waived. Important to mention and it also appears from the extensive photo report that it concerned a very solid and hard body. Finally, a valuation report was drawn up in 1999 by van Eck expertises stating that the total cost for all this was F 80,000/€ 40,000. There is an extensive file at the NSU including a photo report
The collector we are selling the NSU for has had a beautiful original full leather interior fitted that matches the Gemini Blue perfectly in color, and the exclusive Becker Traffic Pro radio incl. CD changer was also installed. The NSU is being sold due to a change in the collection.
