This MG B GT is one of 750 built to celebrate MG's 50th anniversary. After being off the road since 2003, it has been mechanically recommissioned by the current owner, who bought it in 2022. He tells us it “runs well”, and is powered by a reconditioned Gold Seal engine fitted before his ownership. The odometer shows 96,272 miles.
It comes with long list of works completed since 2022, using new and reconditioned parts. This has included a reconditioned radiator, new alternator, fuel tank, brake overhaul, carburettor overhaul, new brake pipes and fuel lines, ignition components, full front suspension strip and overhaul, a replacement steering rack and joints, and various other works.
The car is also accompanied by a few receipts from 2022-23, and its V5C which shows 6 former keepers. It was first registered on 17th June 1975.
