De XJ productielijn van Jaguar bestaat al sinds 1968. Dit werd voor meerdere jaren achter elkaar verlengd, maar uiteindelijk beëindigd in het jaar 2019. Door deze tientallen jaren heen zijn er veel variërende uitvoeringen uitgebracht. Het begon eerst met de Series 1. Hierna kwam nog zowel de Series 2 als de Series 3. Wat er volgde was een andere benaming. Dit waren de X series. De eerste werd de XJ40 genoemd. Vervolgens kwamen er nog diverse modellen genaamd de X300, X308, X350, X358 en als laatste de X351. Er zat ook nog een elektrisch model van de XJ in de planning, maar kwam uiteindelijk de productie niet door. Het gaat hier om de X350 lijn. Deze werden geproduceerd van 2003-2007. Hij werd aangeboden met een 3.0 L V6, 3.5 L V8, 4.2 L V8, 4.2 L supercharged V8 of een 2.7 L V6 dieselmotor.
In 2004 werd deze Jaguar XJ 2.4 V8 Executive origineel geleverd in Luxemburg. Na zijn tijd hier te hebben doorgebracht, ging hij verder op avontuur in Duitsland. Dit ook ging een tijdje door, tot aan het moment dat hij recent binnen de Nederlandse grenzen kwam, en op 21 september 2023 voor het eerst op Nederlands kenteken werd gezet.
De techniek is altijd zorgvuldig onderhouden en de motor loopt dan ook prachtig. De V8 benzinemotor heeft een inhoud van 4.2 liter, heeft 298 pk en is vanzelfsprekend gekoppeld aan een automatische transmissie. De auto weegt dankzij het aluminium chassis en de aluminium carrosserie slechts 1584 kilo en is lichtvoetiger dan zijn formaat in eerste instantie zou doen vermoeden. De remmen en het onderstel zijn heerlijk afgestemd op comfort en meer dan goed op hun taak berekend.
De smaakvolle en zeldzame kleurstelling is het prachtige 'Racing green pearl' het een 'Sand' lederen interieur. Het plaatje is compleet met de prachtige walnoot afwerking op het dashboard en deurpanelen. Kijk ook vooral naar de details zoals de lederen handvaten op het hemeltje!
Dat het hier om een luxe limousine gaat is duidelijk vanaf het moment dat u instapt. De audio installatie is van hoge kwaliteit, de climate control is volledig automatisch, de stoelen zijn meervoudig elektrisch te verstellen met geheugenfunctie, elektrisch verstelbare pedalen en stuur, de xenon verlichting is voorzien van een automatische lichtschakelaar, cruise control, stoelverwarming en een elektrisch zonwerings-gordijn bij de achterruit. De auto wordt geleverd inclusief 2 originele reservesleutels, instructieboekjes en ingevuld serviceboekje.
Fantastisch rijdende en in goede staat verkerende Jaguar XJ8 4.2 in de zeer complete Executive uitvoering. Door zijn leeftijd is deze Jaguar, voor ondernemers, zeer geschikt om als youngtimer te rijden in verband met de lage bijtelling op auto's van 15 jaar en ouder.

Jaguar's XJ production line has been around since 1968. This was extended for several consecutive years, but finally ended in the year 2019. Throughout these decades, many varying versions have been released. It first started with the Series 1. After this came both the Series 2 and the Series 3. What followed was another designation. These were the X series. The first one was called the XJ40. Then came several more models called the X300, X308, X350, X358 and finally the X351. An electric model of the XJ was also in the planning, but ultimately did not make it to production. The model in question was the X350 line. These were produced from 2003-2007. It was offered with a 3.0L V6, 3.5L V8, 4.2L V8, 4.2L supercharged V8 or a 2.7L V6 diesel engine.
In 2004, this Jaguar XJ 2.4 V8 Executive was originally delivered in Luxembourg. After spending its time here, it continued its adventure in Germany. This also continued for a while, until it recently entered Dutch borders, and was first registered in the Netherlands on 21 September 2023.
The technology has always been carefully maintained and the engine runs beautifully as a result. The V8 petrol engine has a capacity of 4.2 litres, has 298 hp and is naturally coupled to an automatic transmission. Thanks to its aluminium chassis and body, the car weighs just 1584 kilos and is more nimble than its size would initially suggest. The brakes and suspension are wonderfully tuned for comfort and more than up to the task.

The car comes complete with 2 original spare keys, instruction booklets and completed service booklet.
Fantastically driving and in good condition Jaguar XJ8 4.2 in the very complete Executive trim. Because of its age, this Jaguar is very suitable for entrepreneurs to drive as a youngtimer in connection with the low additional tax on cars of 15 years and older.
