An honest, unmolested and genuine example, sound, clean & correct, and we feel that the 99,000 miles on the clock is very likely genuine, although we cannot confirm this. We have recently re-commissioned the car, work which has included considerable attention to the braking system, full servicing, tuning and adjustments, following which it runs and drives particularly nicely, adding more weight to the probability of the mileage being correct. Comes with a history file which includes various invoices and documents showing that just 6,000 miles or so have been covered since 1985, old MoT certificates, and a complete ownership record. We have just fitted a set of new radial tyres to the car, which are not shown in all of the photos. MoT tested until November 2021.

In 1965 after 34 years of marriage Mrs Ellen Sarah Fletcher Swift divorced Arthur on the grounds of his adultery with the glamorously named Marie Antoinette du Vachel – which neither Arthur nor Marie denied! When Arthur died in 1995 his executor was an Antoinette Yvonne Rachel Smith..................
