1937 PACKARD SUPER EIGHT BREWSTER TOWN CAR
A fascinating and charmingly elegant Packard Super Eight fitted with high-quality coachwork by Brewster & Co. According to Brewster experts, this town car body was originally paired with a Brewster-Ford chassis, which was soon removed and mounted to this appropriately upscale Packard Super Eight around 1939, believed to be done by the Brewster works. Beautifully presented with a well-maintained older restoration, it is finished in a handsome two-tone dark blue livery, with a substantially original interior. It has enjoyed light use and sympathetic care through the years and remains in fine order throughout. Notably, the driver’s compartment is remarkably roomy for a divider-window town car, making it the ideal pick to enjoy on any number of touring events with the CCCA, Packard Club, or other groups.
