Wolfrat raceboot uit 1958 met 35 pk johnson motor
Fantastische raceboot voor op de binnenwateren. In 1958 heeft de werf Wolfrat in Amsterdam geexperimenteerd met hechthout (triplex) als materiaal voor een raceboot. Een hele serie is er gebouwd, waarmee de 'yuppen' van toen rond Amsterdam hun races hielden. Dit is de laatste die overgebleven is, hij staat geregisteerd bij het scheepvaartmuseum. De boot heeft een 35pk johnson buitenboordmotor uit 1978 en vaart daarmee rond de 50-60 km/u. Hij ligt heel mooi laag in het water, heeft een bilgepompje wat draait als de motor draait. Een eyecatcher die echt uniek is, met mooie nederlandse historie.

Fantastic racing boat for inland waterways. In 1958, the Wolfrat shipyard in Amsterdam experimented with bonded wood (plywood) as a racing boat material. A whole series has been built, with which the 'yuppies' from then held their races around Amsterdam. This is the last one left, it is registered at the shipping museum.
