This rear engine 500 has been swapped with the legendary B16B Type-R Motor, dynoed at 191 Horsepower. The B16b is mated to a 5-speed Type-R transmission and redline's around 9,000 RPM. Stopping power has been greatly increased with the addition of Abarth sport drilled front disc brakes and drilled & slotted Civic Si rear discs. An 8-gallon fuel cell has been integrated into the front trunk along with the master, brake and clutch cylinders.
The cockpit features a Sparco Steering wheel, Bride Low-Max bucket seats, a fully custom dash and a Wilwood pedal assembly. The body sits on a custom box frame chassis to support the steel wide-body conversion. Numerous air ducts have been added to assist with airflow to the motor, cockpit and brakes.
